Hi everyone,

So sorry to be the millionth person asking this but my case number is OC000019xx

How do I figure out when I might be getting an interview?

Also, with regards to the paperwork. Is it just making sure that I have everything ready to go or do I need to gather all this and submit it in order to get an interview time and date?

Thank you so much in advance for any assistance! This has been driving me a little insane!

Check the visa bulletin every month. It is published in the first week or so. In the bulletin scroll down to the DIVERISTY IMMIGRANT section and look for cut-off number in the table specific for OCEANIA region. When the number in the table will become greater than your case number than expect your interview schedule.

Take a look at the previous years bulletins in order to figure it out how is the dynamics of these numbers so you could make a guess or approximation for DV2015.

You have to submit DS-260 then patiently wait till your interview will be schedulled. KCC will not get in touch with you till that moment unless your DS is incomplete or something. Meanwhile you can start gathering all the necessary documents except medical exam and police certificate because they have a limited valability and it is better to get them when you have your interview date established.

I am a DV2015 selectee too. Had no clue of how all this DV stuff works. Now many things are clear to me. All this information that I know and shared here is due to the existence of this forum and all the kind and benevolent members of this community. Thank you and good luck to all of you!

That's okay. A few years before 2014 luck was all that was needed to get selected. When cut off ranks turned current every year, one could be sure of getting an interview sooner or later. This year made a change and dissapointed a lot of people. My CN is pretty high - EU44***. I just hope that 2015 will be better than 2014 and the cut off doesn't stop just below 41***. So, I need some luck :) Thank you!
