I'm going to slec tomorrow for my medical and I'm confused abt the requirements. It says bring original and copy of letter of instruction and 2 photocopies of the appointment letter or letter of instruction (or whatever it's called)

I only have the letter from NVC with my interview date. That's the only thing they sent me and I have nothing from the embassy. So I'll just bring 3 copies of that plus the original?

SLEC requires 3 copies of the interview letter.

Unless NVC sent you the original through regular mail you wont have the original.

Some advice, get there early, eat before you go and be prepared for a lot of people.

My wife had her medical last week at SLEC and she said it was very crowded with a lot of children there.

Good Luck!!!

You won't have anything from the embassy, you are IR/CR-1... the NVC letter is fine.

NVC instruction letter and SLEC appointment letter. Make sure you set appointment with SLEC and print out a copy of the appointment.

By SLEC Appointment letter, I think you meant "online registration"? SLEC doesn't set appointments, it's only for ease of encoding info into their system. It's still first come, first served.
