AOS exam

hey everybody

I got a question: I have sent my AOS package last month (didn't include my vaccinations record) and now I am wondering - my exam was done in May 2006 and it is validy for 1 year, right ?

I wonder if my approval takes that long and happens after May, would I have to have it done all over again ? Or it is good enough to have just the 693A when they ask for ( I know I should've sent it with the package but the stupid me didn't )

As long as it has been less than one year when you submit your AOS application from the date of your medical exam, you will not need another medical exam. The one year is not from the date of your AOS approval.... it is the AOS application date.

You will, however, need to get the Vaccination Supplement done at a Civil Surgeon here in the U.S. If you take your Vaccination Worksheet (from your medical exam), a Civil Surgeon can copy the information onto the Supplement for you. We got ours done for $35.00 (with no additional vaccinations required).

Call around to some Civil Surgeons in your area to find the best price. The prices varied significantly from one CS to another in our area.

That is valid even if she hasn't submitted a vaccination sheet in the inital AOS packet? She's still free from a new medical?

The only problem is... I don't have the form with this information from my medical. I just have my vaccinations records which are in Portuguese.
