I am not intending on leaving the United States so should I fill in form i131 or not?

It's free, so no harm in filing. Better safe than sorry :-)

Apply for EAD/AP together...it's a combo card, and both filings are free when applied with AOS.

Yes since it is free please apply for it. You never know what will happen and if you need to go for an emergency you need to have it.

Hi, If you are defiantly not intending on traveling before you get your Green Card, then don't bother with the I-131, I didn't apply for mine, & as it all turned out it would have been a waste of time for me as I only had my EAD for a very short time before my AOS interview. But if you think that it might be a long time before you get your G/C then it could be of use having the A/P with the EAD just in case & it's free.

You can't be sure if you'll get an AOS interview or be put into the interview waiver group. My husband was in the interview waiver group, and it took 7 months from filing to have his green card. He had applied for EAD/AP, so it wasn't an issue, though.

And there are example forms under the Example Forms blue header on VisaJourney (be sure you are using a PC to acces).

I am filling out my i485 I have criminal record back home, what I do need? ie additional proofs this is from 2011 and UCICS were already aware of this?
