Well I don´t know if I am on the right forum but here we go.

I shared with you guys vjers, that my hubby requested at NVC for expedite case. and his request was granted. It didn´t take more than a week and we received an email saying that they forwarded the case at the embassy in Nicaragua. 3 to 4 working days we received another email from the embassy in Nicaragua notifying that they received the approved I-130 from NVC.

During NVC processing they have sent my hubby a checklist to submit another AOS form and two police records from me of the places I lived before. My hubby submit his AOS return checklist 2 days after, while i worked on getting the police records done, it took me a week and then submitted them back to NVC, so my concern is whether the NVC had time to review the return checklist or because of the expedite they forwarded everything at the embassy for them to continue the process?

One week ago the embassy sent us an email notifying me to get the documentations ready for the interview and yesterday they sent us the interview date, for the last week in this month june 2014.

So thats mean that they already accepted the AOS from my hubby? or will they decide that at the date of the interview?

great questions.

some prep:

1. call into NVC and ask what documents were sent out to the Embassy - get a supervisor !

2. make an entire new set of all docs that were to go to NVC and hand them over with the interview.

3. I might have missed it - but if no payment at NVC you need to pay in that country via the regular payment methods for that Embassy - so find the payment instructions and go pay if'n you need to pay.

fwiw - NVC does intake and checks for completeness. FORMS are adjudicated at the Embassy IV Unit - not NVC - as part of the regular VISA chasing process - irrespective of any expedite request.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !

You have to get a new set of documents ready. My case was accepted for expedite and then forwarded to my consulate but I had already sent NVC my AOS documents. They DID NOT forward it on. They sent it back to me and said the case is no longer with them. I just received these documents back yesterday. Luckily I had another set ready because imagine how much that would've slowed things down if I waited for my documents to get sent back from NVC

As I said, my hubby did all the paperwork and submit return checklists also pay the fees, AOS fee and DS-260 fee already paid.

On the consular electronic application center site, it has that the two fees are paid, the agend of address is completed the DS-260 is completed but to the Affidavit of support form has N/A and also at the IV form has N/A

My hubby submitted all return checklist to NVC, but we never knew if they accepted them.

OF course that was before the case was expedited.

it's great that the fees were paid.

For clarity - ask your husband to call into NVC today and go over the questions I put in post #2, question #1.
