DS-160 validity and we want my Dad to attend our wedding

Hi everybody.I want to ask if theres a validity of DS-160 coz if I'm not mistaken I fill it up online around last week of April 2014.do I need to cancel or fill it up another DS-160?another question would be we want my Dad to attend our wedding if possible I will get my K1 visa.what type of visa we need to apply?what are documents to support.can we apply for it while waiting for my interview?

You've completed the DS-160 with a pending interview, the validity of the visa application is not an issue. Not necessary to cancel and complete a new one.

Your father would apply for a tourist/visitor visa (B2). However, he would need to show strong ties to the Philippines to improve his chance of approval.

Your DS-160 is good, as long as you printed out the confirmation page after sending it all is good. :thumbs:
