Unemployed...I-134 questions

Hello everyone! Well, my fiancee has her medical scheduled for next week and then we plan to have her interview in Kyiv next month. I'm getting a little paranoid as I am currently unemployed and am looking for a position in my field (which is tough right now). Questions:

1. I read on the U.S. State Dept under fiancee visas that the I-134 income requirements are 100% of the federal poverty guideline. I have savings in the bank of about 70k with no other income...Is this enough?

2. I plan to have my brother co-sponsor. He is single with no dependents and makes well above the poverty guideline. He just fills out another I-134 with the accompanying documentation, correct?

3. Has anyone heard or experienced anyone in Kiev being denied the K1 visa with the petitioner being unemployed? If anyone can give me some insight, I would appreciate it!

THANKS AGAIN everyone!

Income is key. Since you're using a cosponsor, this doesn't matter. Read the Guides, I thought the level was 125%?

2. I plan to have my brother co-sponsor. He is single with no dependents and makes well above the poverty guideline. He just fills out another I-134 with the accompanying documentation, correct?

Yes and you do the same.....kind of verifying that you need a cosponsor. Again, both of you submit 134s.

3. Has anyone heard or experienced anyone in Kiev being denied the K1 visa with the petitioner being unemployed? If anyone can give me some insight, I would appreciate it!

Never heard of that reason.

THANKS AGAIN everyone!

You'll be fine . The I-134 has a section dedicated to assets OTHER than income ie...savings, real estate so on. But with a co-sponsor you don't have to worry any way.

With Co-sponsor you'll be fine, they barely check documents in Kyiv Consulate (at least that how it was with me and several other people recently). As for savings: savings are savings (it's not an income), but as far as you are co-sponsored you'll be all right!!!! Best of luck at the interview!
