I would not waste a cent on an immigration lawyer. Very few of them understand DV and there are a number of instances of people having been given blatantly incorrect information, in some cases bad enough to jeopardize the visa being granted. Unless you need something like a waiver for an inadmissibility there is no reason to use one. I mean if you want to sure...but if they tell you any rubbish (like your chances are much better if you do AOS as I have seen posted on avvo for example) just be sure you know how to cut the BS out.
