G-325A question

I have worked so hard on this, and it has been frustrating and put us to the test.

Now I have everything complete and ready to mail. I triple checked all and now...

I realized my fiance filled in the top line of G-325A with Family name (xxxxx) First name (xxxx) Middle name (Thi Thuy).

but on the very bottom of page it calls for another name id and alien reg #)

She filled this out with same family name (xxxxx) Same given name (xxxx) but for middle name she only put (Thuy).

She made this mistake once on both parts of the form and I had her re-send. It is $50 each time and takes a week for speedy delivery. Will this pass or am i stuck paying a third time and waiting longer?

My thoughts...

Tough to say if it will pass or not? I know for my wife and I, we made 100% sure that everything was correct. We got on Skype and went over things when necessary...made sure names were the same throughout every single paper...everything was correct and consistent. We repeated things several times to be sure we both agreed and understood everything. She caught a few mistakes, I caught a few mistakes.

My advice is to be sure everything is 100% correct BEFORE you send it in....it takes work and communicating. Our package took 2 months to complete, but it was done with no detail left unchecked, nothing wrong and it went through in 46 days. You can try to pass it off...worst thing is you'll get an RFE and have to do it correctly.

Your call. If it was me, I would do what I had to do to send it a 100% quality package from the getgo, just to avoid any problems. Frustrating yeah, but I would err on the side of completeness. Either way, they won't put your app in the trash if that's what you're worried about.

I actually filled out alot of forms for my wife, especially when it's my native language we're dealing with...this document included. Doing a package of this magnitude, it's easy to make a mistake. When done, I just sent it to her over email, we would go over the information together on Skype to be really sure...then she printed, signed and sent back, along with all papers. I put them in the package and shipped it off. We just basically did each thing and one way or another, agreed everything was correct before docs were signed and/or sent. It just eliminates hardships like this. I recommend from now on...whatever is left to do.
