hello everyone, My fiancée will have her interview in Juarez in less than two weeks. I AM GOING WITH HER.

I ended seeing her a couple of weeks ago so we can do the DS 160 online over there. But I have two problems, I hope that it is just my over worrying.

First, In the G-325 I put down that father lived in USA. But in the DS 160 I put down that he lived in Baja California, address unknown, and he is not in the USA. I should not have down that. It was my bad. He has not seen him in 10 years. She does not know his address. Can I tell them that he is still in USA and it was a mistake?

Second, as far as employment and school it asked for Present Employer or School Name: She has no present employer and no present school. She was going to school but it was an unofficial course that prepares you for "real school." they have no official records. She was going to attend the school officially this month but did not register because we are about to conclude the K1. She is 25, and has had no job, although she has been going to a small school here and there beauty school (it was a fad of hers). She did that while taking care of her grandmother, going to the gym, and living of her mother, and myself. Sometimes she helped out her aunt at a store but that once in a while. ANYWAYS I put down the name of the school she was going to register officially. I put down school name XXXXX XXXXX SCHOOL with a business phone number (that is actually the main facility phone number might not be direct number to school [the school is an extension of the facility]). I actually used the word "School" by mistake.

Anyways, I am afraid they are going to ask for documentation or worse call the number [i read other posts they do that]. Her resume and previous school history is bad since she did not keep proper paper work and is terrible at addresses. We Hispanics are terrible at paperwork. Anyways, I afraid they are going to ask for CV or resume [i read other posts some consulates did that]. We are not going to be able to comply.

Third, It asked if she has any immediate relative, not including parents in the U.S,, I put down myself, but I did not put down her brother (and of course her father). I do not remember being able to "add" another name.

ANY ADVICE? IS IT TOO LATE TO DO ANOTHER DS 160??? IF I DO ANTOTHER DS 160 WILL THAT THROW OFF EVERYTHING ELSE THAT IS TIME WITH THE ALREADY EXISTING DS 160 CONFIRMATION NUMBER?

AS FAR AS EVIDENCE OF ONGOING RELATIONSHIP IS CONCERNED:

Am I too include evidence POST K1 petition approval???

All I have is the cell phone records that I printed out (looks like copy since I printed, I was going paperless so I did not get the colorful ones by mail) that show four months of calls and texts. I also have a photo of us together with receipt showing we ate dinner, when I went to see her recently to fill out the Ds 160 form.

or I am to redo every evidence to include the prior ones sent with 129F?

any advice.

To speak the truth, as stated g-325 I put down he lives in USA. My fiancée was afraid he was going to be picked up by ice, and I figured that since he was recently in Mexico [FROM WHAT THE FAMILY SAYS, FIANCEE HAS NOT SEEN HIM], then I put down his residency as Mexico. Although fiancée does not known the address. BUT NOW HE IS BACK AT HIS HOME IN USA. And in a way I don't know what is what. I was reading the INS has fraud units that look into paperwork submitted. If they see the inconsistency then that could raise a redflag.

So can I do a "retraction" and say it was a mistake. And that I meant to put that the dad is in USA and that the address is unknown?

And the school as I explained above?

Correcting Answers on a Submitted DS-160

Enter your application ID number and answer additional questions as prompted to access and correct your application.

http://travel.state.gov/content/visas/english/forms/ds-160--online-nonimmigrant-visa-application/frequently-asked-questions.html

Bring the new confirmation page with you for the interview. I would bring the confirmations from both, just to cover all your bases.

Thanks!!!

I had called the consulate # (but not really consulate, it is based in Virginia). They told me that when I get a new DS 160 confirmation, to give them a call back. So they can fix it in the computer.

I will te due it with my Fiancée on Sunday since she is the applicant of the DS 160. But this will be on Sunday. Her medical is on Monday. Asc Tuesday. So i may not havevtime to call them back. Lady told me DS 160 confirmation is not needed for medical. So just to call before Tuesday.

Good luck to you!

You assume things as bad as I generalize. Congratulations.
