whats the difference between co sponsor and joint sponsor?

thing is i live here in the philippines for the last 5 years and i have just been going to the us in and out for vacation. we have an online business that we established in the philippines its called internet marketing. we earn pretty well. but the thing is we dont file taxes cause we get our money thru the internet, paypal. my parents in america earn pretty well to. so do i ask for co-sponsor thre or joint sponsor? and what do i have to submit? thanks a lot.

oh and i have a drivers license from america. and i reside in america with my parents, i also studied in america but i did not graduate college there only the lower levels. is that enough to prove domicile in america?

co and joint - it's the same thing.

By the way, there's no such thing - in this country anyway - as not paying taxes on money received through the internet! You still have to pay taxes on it - especially if it came through paypal. paypal reports all that to the government.

Uhmmmm.

As a US citizen, the US taxes you based on your worldwide earnings even if nothing is earned in the US.

Since you "earn pretty well," you might want to file back US income tax returns.

From my understanding, a joint sponsor is someone that helps makes up the income requirement if your petitioner does not possess the necessary financial requirement to support their beneficiary (125% of the current Federal poverty line, based on household size). A co-sponsor would be someone that pools their income with your joint sponsor to reach the required income level, if they cannot reach it alone.

Although "co" and "joint" mean the same thing in English, I think the AOS forms work on the above definitions.
