hi guys! my gf and i have been together for 5 years going 6 :D and we plan to migrate to the US and we think DCF is the best way. we have built our relationship here in the philippines and i just go for a 2 weeks vacation to the US every now and then but i mostly stay here in the philippines ofcourse because my girlfriend is here. i studied here and graduated in an I.T course in informatics i have a house here but it is owned by my parents. i do have one savings account in a bank and a car under my name.

anyway, first question i am here at US currently and i plan to apply dual citizenship before i go back to the philippines so i wont be dealing with fines in the immigration will that affect our DCF filing?

2nd question: my GF and i are planning to do CIVIL wedding ASAP once i get back. so we can file DCF but then again how long do you have to get married before u can apply for DCF?

3rd: my girlfriend has a daughter she's not mine but i accepted her to be mine she calls me daddy cause i basically watch her grow up. now she's currently enrolled for this school year she's only 7 years old. we plan to leave her here first for a year to finish her 1 whole year in school then bring her in the US just incase we get approved. will that be a problem? we will be leaving her with my girlfriends mom at the meantime. we were thinking that we have to get situated there first before we bring our step daughter with us FYI i havent adopted her yet? and do i need to?

LAST : i never had an ACR-icard i just go in and out of the country paying fines fines fines all the time. haha anyway i think i have to apply right so that it will be proof also. oh my gf and i have a business together its not filed its just in the internet. its called internet marketing we get paid thru paypal and we dont pay taxes cause its over the internet we only have bank statements to prove our financial stability will that be a problem? or we really needa get a co-sponsor

sorry for asking too many questions.we really dont have any idea what to do thank you so much!!!

No it will not. You will need to prove Domicile here in the U.S.

You only need to be married -- how long is not an issue. However, you will need the NSO copy of the marriage contract, which can take 6 months to get. Wherever you get married, when you register the marriage at the LCR, ask about Advanced Endorsement so the time delay to get the NSO copy is reduced significantly.

Leaving the child behind will not be a problem, when you're ready you can submit an I-130 for her daughter. You do not need to adopt her daughter.

The fact that you attended and graduated school will help prove your residency in the Philippines. However, be prepared with other items to support your residency claim. If you haven't filed taxes, you'll need to explain why. You'll need a co-sponsor to help meet the income requirements.
