Hi Guys,

I aplogize if this/these quesitons have beeen answered before. I have searched meticulously through this forum for some answers and havent found any. My questions are as below;

- I was selected for DV2015XXXX46xxx

- i am currently on an H1B visa (went to school in US, and recently completed my 1st year on the H1B)

- I am in the process of searching for a new job and trying to switch, I have a few leads with a few companies who are willing to transfer my H1b Visa. ou

My questions is can I fill out the DS260 form first then switch jobs, or should I switch jobs then fill out the DS260. (Current prospects on new job might be for sometime in Septemeber or October)

Any responses or suggestions are greatly appreicated. Thank you guys!

AF46xxx right? Your interview probably won't be before May or June next year, so it won't hurt to fill the forms out later.

As to whether or not it's best to do that, I'm afraid I can't give advice - though as H1B is a dual intent visa, I believe you wouldn't have the same issues with showing immigrant intent as people on non-immigrant visas.
