hey,

i have been living in a foreign country (sweden) for 9 months and will be back home (nepal) in two months. so my total duration of the stay will be 11 months.

1) do i have to submit the police report in this case at the interview? since it says we have to provide police report if one has lived abroad for 12 months

2) when ds 260 asks to enter the present address, do i enter Sweden? i think i should enter sweden since i am at sweden when im filling up the form. but i will have returned to my country in two months permanently. what do i do? do i have to resubmit the ds 260 form after i get to nepal?

Yes, as long as you weren't arrested or had any legal issues there, then the cutoff is 12 months so you don't need a certificate for Sweden.

You should put your Swedish address since that is your current address, and you don't have to wait until you get back to Nepal to fill out the form.

thanks, but do i have to update my current address after i reach nepal? do i have to inform kcc or anything?

If you've already submitted your DS-260 before you move then you don't have to inform KCC, but you should mention it at the interview.
