Misspelled Name

I am a US citizen and in order to bring my mother from India, I'm to submit an I-130, naturilzation certificate, and my birth certificate with my mother's name on the certificate for proof.

The issue I have is my mother has her name spelled "Ranjit" on all of her ID's (passport, govt ID); however, on my birth certificate, my mother's name was translated to be spelled out as "Ranjeet".

Can anyone tell me if this will be an issue and how it may be possible to address the issue? To this point, I have not submitted the I-130 but I have spelled the name out as "Ranjit" on the form as it matches her passport and ID.

I had a similar case back when I was about to file for my dad as soon as I became USC. We got the name fixed which took about a year to be fixed and I'm currently waiting for my dad's case to be completed. I suggest you get your mom's name corrected ASAP before you get stuck waiting.
