I had my interview on May 20 at 7:45am in SAN FRANCISCO. We came in a little late as hubby just got off work from his graveyard shift, but we were accommodated and the first to be interviewed in Room E. The IO was quite friendly and interviewed as together. She had quite a handful of basic questions. I was terrified as my hubby forgot some dates and sequences of events, but I think we handled it pretty well. The IO also took some of our documents like our jointly filed 1040, bank statement, w2, recent paystubs, copy of marriage license and took some of our pictures. I lost track of the time. The interview probably took about less than hour. At the end of the interview, the IO said the application will undergo a review and gave us a letter before they can finally approved and that we should received a mail. She also reminded us about the expiration and we should apply for ROC 90 days before the temporary green card expires. So, does that mean we're approved? I am so anxious.

~Moved from K-1 Process to Family-based AOS Progress Forum~

~Inquiry about AOS status, past K-1~

~duplicate thread removed~

(organizer hat off)

:wow: It sounds a bit like a cliffhanger, and a bit of a let down. She really didn't seem to come out and say that you were approved. However, the fact that she mentioned the ROC information is encouraging. Hopefully you will receive something more definitive soon.

We had a similar cliffhanging experience at our AOS interview. At the end of our interview, the IO said that he had just gotten our file 10 minutes before our interview, and he couldn't give us a decision at that time. He said that he would have to review our file and let us know within 10-14 days, or ask for more information. We were pretty forlorn after his closing comments. Yet, a couple of hours after getting home, we were notified by text message that my family's AOS had been approved. I don't know why they have to be so clandestine about their decisions? :ranting:

Hang in there, hope you receive some good news soon!

We also had our interview in San Francisco yesterday. With the same result! No decision, under review, but with the info about removing conditions in two years. The interviewer was nice but a little tough on us, but we also think we did well (and my husband mixed up and forgot some dates, too  ). I'm sure we will hear from them soon, and that it will be an approval
