When I filled out the biometrics form for my fiancée, I didn't list her jobs and just put she has lived at her parents house her whole life. We were just trying to keep it easy cuz she has only had 2 jobs one for 6 months and one for 3 months. She has no idea of the addresses or phone numbers. Now that we are filling out the DS160 it asks about her past employment, we don't want to lie. So if she does her research and can find out those addresses and phone numbers and we put them on the DS160 will it be a problem in her interview that there were no job listings on the Biometric page? Our package is on its way to the embassy in Manila and we are very excited and don't want any problems over something so simple. Do you think they will say anything? Thank you very much for your help.......

By biometric of your fiancee, I think you mean G-325a Biographic info. Not an expert here, but from a 3rd person's point of view, I would wonder why didn't you research about this or run with your fiancee and make sure to respond to the forms truthfully prior to the I-129f filing? IMHO, an inconsistency with the files will most likely raise an eyebrow.

Well, I think you would still need to have stated that information and for information you did not know, put "unknown" or something. Just a suggestion. Whether they will say anything, who knows. It may be a concern if they ask in the interview and and you or your beneficiary state something about the job but on the form it says no jobs

IMHO, an inconsistency with the files will most likely raise an eyebrow.

She did answer your question, which was, "do you think they will say anything?" Her response can be interpreted as, yes, they probably will have questions about it. You can try to explain why you were "keeping it simple" instead of "keeping it honest."

The good news is when you have your answer, you can report back in a couple months and let everyone know what happened so that people who omit asked-for information will know what repercussions they face. :) Good luck!

I think you have misunderstood my response. Rephrasing below:

Any inconsistency with the files or information submitted to the embassy will most likely lead to further background check or scrutiny. Not to say this is anything major. But definitely something that will most likely come up during the interview and something that your fiancée needs to be prepared for.

You're welcome. Good luck.

I apologize if my statement appeared rude, its just that info after the fact does no good. I needed to know if anyone had followed reviews and posts enough to know if this would actually be a problem or nothing to worry about. Should I make my DS160 match the 325 biometrics page with regards to the work, or should I now list the jobs due to the fact that Iam back in the USA and I can locate those addressees for her? Thank you for your help......

once again read before responding, a suggestion now does no good when its already been done.

On the contrary, you will have to fill out another set of G325 bios again for AOS period, so if it came down to it, will you be repeating the same or will you put something down? So a suggestion here will help you later on down the line when you have to fill them out again - or any other form that requests this type of information. So if you are going full throttle with omitting her employment, and you are approved, you should continue it throughout. If you put something in your DS160 and still get approved, I would keep doing it form here on out.

So what you decide to put on your DS160, you should stick to it throughout the process.

What I do know, is that the embassy will have everything you submitted for your I129F, and that includes the Bio information you submitted that did not mention any jobs.

I agree with tina and Johan; if you decide to put the updates in the DS160 and they question you about it, both of you need to be prepared to answer them. Who knows what those officers are thinking. they could be having a good day and let it pass through ... or you can get a bad one that decides to put you in AP for months while they check out the inconsistency. Regardless, unless something is shady with employment history, then I do not forsee them just outright denying you a visa. At the worst you'll be in AP before issuing a visa. Good luck

In anyones opinion......should i put her jobs on the Ds160, or should i just say no jobs like the g325, thanks

My bad. I just saw this ...

IMO, if it was me, I would just stick with no jobs. If it comes up in the interview, then I would have to be preapred to answer. That's just my opinion, but please do not beat me up if you do what I suggest and they deny you because of it O_O. haha

Agreed. You started with no jobs, continue with no jobs. Don't list them on the DS-160, shouldn't be an issue. But, same disclaimer: just my opinion, don't beat me up, either.
