Our lawyer asked me to stop calling NVC

Can i not call the NVC to follow up my case?

It was because there was one time, that i called NVC if our case is already complete, but instead of hearing that it is still under review, they told me they sent an email asking us to give the lacking document from my husbands employer, then i asked my husband to please call the office of our lawyer, Lawyers secretary told him that yes, there were more documents being asked, and after few hours of their conversation, the secretary of the lawyer asked me to stop calling NVC as this may trigger speculations and more work for them, what i didnt understand is what is she talking bout "more work for them"?

anyways i just needed to vent out, I am feeling so anxious, I have no one to talk to about this because i dont wanna bother my husband with it as he may feel worried about me- we have been away from each other for one year and 2months now and its so painful

So, can i not ask NVC?

After the NVC got our case I told my husband to call the NVC directly twice a week.

sounds more like they didnt like you found out they didnt send all the things needed for your case....their failure to send that one document cost you a few weeks of getting approval

Yes sara, sounds like it. Its so hard dealing with people like that. They dont understand that being apart from your husband is a torture...
