Here in Canada our carrier to deliver our passports is Loomis.

I'd just like to know other people's experiences with their carrier and how fast it came.

My passport has been sitting in the Loomis facility for a few days now, so much for that "express" mailing.

Sending the consulate documents was right away, receiving them seems to be another story.

Did you contact them to arrange home delivery? Has Loomis contacted you at all?

I went through Vancouver but I had to go pick it up when it arrived at the nearest loomis facility. Loomis sent me an email the night before it arrived and called me around noon on the day it got there.

If it was still sitting in quebec today, I was going to call. I checked this morning, and it finally made a move. I've arranged for home delivery but, I got the, "we'll contact you in two business days" twice now, and no one has yet. It's a 45 minute drive to pick it up so, which ever comes first is how i'll get it. It'll probably be quicker if I just pick it up. Because the moment I pick it up, my fiance will be on his way to get me.

I'm sure it'll sit in this location for a while and I won't see it until tuesday.

Maybe i'll just call and complain, maybe they'll push it a little quicker lol.

My fiance received his within a week or so. It was the only fast part of the process, aside from the interview!

A week good to know! interview is June 25th, and plan is to leave to USA July 6th [and have Fiance fly to Portland July 7th] to drive down with me to San Diego hopfully this gives us enough time, tho I know I am going to see if I can get a earlier interview date every week for next couple of weeks

Cheers

I wish I could say that the passport part has came quickly. I've called several times, and they keep telling me they will call back. I've been waiting all day, no call what's so ever. And the consulate gave me a number as well, which doesn't even work. So, now I have to wait all weekend, and hope I can make it up there. I could've been back home with my hubby today if Loomis wasn't such a lousey company.

Well, I was approved right on the spot. Under one condition, I had to mail in another support form from another family member on his side. Once they got the form, my passport was issued in a day. So, I knew it would take 5 days for me to get a waybill but, it should've been at the Loomis location I requested the next day. But, with my luck, it took a week.

Oh! And I eventually got a phone call from Loomis, after waiting all day, and I left the house, they called at 530! I was sooo annoyed.

I'll just go pick it up monday! I'm over the headache!
