I had my interview today and when my name was called at the last window, the guy said it's ok now , we will just send you your visa.. I'm assuming that I got approved, is that right? But they never gave me the slip for delivery. Is it because it was already indicated on my appointment that I want it to be picked up at 2Go MOA.

Thanks guys!

Congratulations "you are approved". Sweet words to your ears. It's time to start packing. smiley-bounce016.gif

If they kept your passport and you hand no problems during your interview that would cause them to generate a 221(g) (a letter that would indicate they need more information) then yes you are approved.

BUT, don't buy your airline ticket just yet till you have your visa in hand thus avoiding the changing of ticket dates and flights which can cost you $$$$. greensmilies-017.gif

Looks to me like it flew just fine. But like the others said, don't buy your plane ticket yet. The exact date you will get your visa on is impossible to predict. Better to wait until it is in your hands.

Clothes are expensvie in the US, so it is better to take whatever you will be wearing. Shipping does not come cheap either, so carry as much on the plane as you can.

Average time? Seems to be running about 5 days. But it varies, mostly for random reasons. Sone get theirs in 2 days, and some wait three weeks. That is why you can't tell.

You can actually do you your CFO now. Just bring an extra printout of your interview appointment to the CFO office in place of your passport. The only drawback is that you will have to go back there to get the CFO sticker affixed to the visa once you get it.

Best of luck to you in your new life in Florida.

Did you complete CFO or are you waiting?

Thank you Hank for all your help. Do you know how many weeks it normally takes for it to be delivered?

Hmm... Yeah that's one thing. I still have to do MY CFO. *sigh*

I am actually planning to complete my CFO once I have my visa so that I don't have to go back there.

No one can really say "how long" for delivery, just keep checking CEAC and USTRAVELDOCS

As for CFO follow my link and read the CFO section.

I tried to track it using that link you gave me.

It says, "READY" what does it mean?

This site is where you can monitor your visa issuance status as USEM does reviews or second look on your files. Next should be AP then finally Issued. At this point, just patiently wait until you see an "Issued" status. However, timeline for this may vary from days to weeks to months. Each case is different. I received my visa in 2 weeks from interview. :)2Go will text you once your visa is ready for pick-up or delivery, which should be about 2-3 business days from "issued" status when in Manila or 4-5 days if in the province.

For CFO, just make sure you have all documents that CFO is known to require, which you can find in Hank's link. Be confident but not arrogant and gentle with your choice of words when responding during the one-on-one. They tend to give a hard time to those who show an attitude. Smile and relax.

Here's a very recent review of a CFO experience: http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/488222-cfo-walk-through-updated-2014-a-learning-experience/#entry6911979
