Hi All,

My CN is EU***40***.

Any idea as to when my interview will be??

Also note even though its EU i will ask for my interview to be in Australia.

Thanks alot in advance.

I assume you are DV2015 - best to make that clear. If so, that is pretty easy. It will be September 2015. The place you do it makes no difference to the month.

Thanks for that. Ye its for the 2015.

How do you know that?

Is there anyway bringing it forward?

My partner will be arriving this september on another visa for work so surely i have grounds to bring my interview forward?

He is estimating based on previous years.

And no you have no right at all to bring the interview forward. If there were everyone would find grounds to do it. Interview dates are scheduled in chronological order by case number. You are guaranteed neither an interview nor a visa, so I can't see any grounds at all for bringing it forward. This is not just KCC by the way, this is USCIS, no-one gets expedited for immigrant visa interviews, ask those family based visa people who've been waiting for a decade....

People often forget a visa is a privilege rather than a right. Not saying you're saying that, but that is often the type of thinking behind "my case is more important so I should be allowed to jump the queue".

Susie is exactly right on all counts.

I have to admit I chuckled when I read the thing about the partner arriving as being grounds to bring it forward. Like yeah, they shift the whole system around based on what is convenient for us. Wow - do you have a shock coming. I think you are going to need to take up Yoga or something to stay relaxed when dealing with a totally straightforward but absolutely inflexible system. But it will be good training for you when dealing with American organizations (such as the SSA, DMV, Banks, Schools and so on).

Having a partner moving to the US on a work visa does not constitute a good reason for an expediated interview. Being granted with a visa to visit, work or live in the US is a priviledge, not a right.
