hello everyone,

i have a question about submission of documents on AOS.

my husband did not file a tax for more than 6 yrs now...he is a retiree due to dissability and he's earning from his pension will not even meet the poverty line

we were able to find a joint sponsor for my application and completed all the necessary supporting documents.

does my husband need to submit other documents even if we already find joint sponsor? what are those documents.

pls help reply. thanks a lot :)

Your husband will submit an I-864 that is as complete as possible. If his only income is not taxable, he can simply hand write in the past tax information section, "Not required to file. All income is non-taxable." He should then show evidence of his income and its source (a benefits declaration) even if it isn't enough.

Facts are cheap...knowing how to use them is precious...
