Hi Everyone, I have been reading the guides and wiki. I can only see outdated info on this... for Marriage in Ukraine. Are American citizens required to show proof of any vaccinations or immunizations. I have a Dr apt on Tuesday and any help / info on this would be appreciated. I saw an old post several years ago that said rubella vaccination was required. However on the Ukraine consulate website they do not mention immunizations being required... Also for the CR-1 The guides still say up to 10 months processing times.. I have been informed that since they started using private companies to process the visas the fiancé visas are going through in about three months. Does this time period also apply to the CR-1 visa. Also She has a daughter. will this cause any delays or are both visas processed at the same time. ?

Thanks everyone...

CR1/IR1 takes about a year. Er. You mean do US citizens have to have any vaccinations to get married? I think what you were reading was more likely what SHE would need to get a visa.

I'm the beneficiary.

Don't have a timeline? Don't know how to get started with it? Do it for the statistics sake: VJ video guide

Want to know what's happening with your case? Here's the USCIS tracking page (get an account and see if the case's been 'touched'!). Don't get your hopes up though, some cases never even appear there despite being successfully processed.

OP's post is confusing but assuming this is about K1 or CR1,

-without expedite expect to wait 1 year if you do things as fast as possible (ie, when hitting the next step you send documents asap)

-beneficiary is the one that needs medical exam before interview. petitioner does not need anything of this sort under regular circumstances. so no vaccinations required for american petitioner.

(think about it, SHE is the one immigrating to USA, SHE is the one who needs to prove this isn't a scam at interview and that she doesn't have some deadly disease or potential to get it because of no vaccinations), all you have to prove as american citizen is Affidavit of Support and that you are eligible for visa. So she needs the vaccinations and in the case of Rubella, if she had it before she can just bring a statement saying that she had it and then doesnt need vaccination for that (someone just went through this a few days ago)

Good luck OP. and read the guides they are not outdated to the point you will do something wrong http://www.visajourney.com/content/i130guide1

PS: about the daughter thing, as long as you send both documents at same time for all steps they should get interview around the same time at worst case scenario. Things like Affidavit of Support its same document for both I think. The only way to get a delay on that is if you make a mistake on one of them and delay one

Always double check your documents and forms. Not only do you get delayed by RFEs and Checklists, but the time it takes for them to review the new items you send could be used to approve more applications. Save yourself and others valuable time!
