Help! AOS fee paid, can we submit I-864 immediately? Do we have to wait? Confused!

Applying for IV, paid for AOS fee, completed Form DS-261 and next step is submitting the AOS forms and taxes.

Question: do we submit all documents immediately or do we need to wait for NVC to issue an invoice, make payment and then submit documents?

I have read conflicting directions/guides, so any assistance is appreciated.

You can submit the AOS supporting documents since you have the barcoded sheet.

You will have to wait to send the IV supporting documents until after you pay the IV fee. To pay IV fee, they will review the DS-261, then issue a fee and then you send the documents.
