Hi everyone,

I just sent out my AOS packet and my husband's IV Supporting Documents packet in the same envelope to the NVC. We've separated them in separate envelopes within the delivery envelope and placed the corresponding bar coded sheets on each. We happen to be in Australia right now, he's the beneficiary, I'm the petitioner.

We wanted the quickest delivery option, but more importantly, one that could be tracked all the way to the NVC because we're sending original documents like my husband's birth certificate. The only such option was International Courier, which requires signature by the recipient on delivery, but I read in some places that packages sent to NVC shouldn't require signature on delivery.

So I just wanted to ask if others have sent in their NVC documents with a delivery method that requires signature on delivery to make sure it will go through okay.

No worries. This is a non-issue. At worst, it will add a day to the timeline from sending to actual intake.
