Hi, all,

Recently, I received a notice that my I-485 application had been transferred to the California Service Center. A couple of days' later, I received another notice that the case was pending at the office to which it was transferred.

I applied for a I-765 and I-485 after coming into the US on a K-1 visa and marrying my (now) wife.

What might this mean? Does it mean that I will be delayed in receiving my I-485 or that processing is sped up? I was particularly thorough in my application, so I hope it's the latter.

If anyone has any ideas, I'd like to hear them.

triplicate post added to really old thread!

“...Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive--it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we knew all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there?”
