Hello everyone,

my trying to write a letter to senator to help me resolve this issue, my congressman was working with me, but no result i get the same information i can get from calling CIS. please read the below letter and let me know if i need to add or remove anything.

Thanks

To Dear Senator,

My name is XXXXX, and I am a US Citizen. Last several months, it was a roller coaster ride for me; I have applied for I-130 Petition for relative (for My mother) my Priority Date May 21, 2013, and my petition was approved on January 10,2014 nearly eight month after filing the petition. In the approval notice USCIS state that the approval notice has been shipped to NVC (National Visa Center) for processing. NVC should receive the approval notice in eight weeks, and I should contact NVC directly. I called NVC at least 4 times a week to check if they received the approval notice, and always the same response I need to wait eight weeks. The Eight weeks has elapsed, so I called them back , and the approval; notice not received yet, this time they asked me to email the approval notice to NVCResearch@State.gov, and I did after a 10 days I received a response stating that they have not receive the approval notice and they will contact USCIS on my behalf. I didn’t wait so I contacted USCIS and I spoke to Tier 2 officer, and they confirmed that they shipped the package on February 4,2014 and not January 10,2014 and I need to wait eight weeks starting February 4, 2014, I called yesterday April 11,2014 and the package has not been received yet.

I sincerely appreciate your help in this matter. For your reference I am attaching my I-130 approval notice. If you need any more information or need to discuss, please do not hesitate to call me on my mobile XXXXXX or email me XXXXXXXXX

The same ####### is happening to us. Our NOA2 was Jan 31/14, but NVC has still not received our file. You have more info than us though.. we can't get anyone that will tell us where our file is. Our congressman is involved too.

Your letter to the Senator is fine. They're just going to call you to get the story anyway. They probably have a form on their website that they will want you to fill out and send in.

IR1/CR1 Visa - We are using a lawyer!

Embassy: Montreal, Canada

USCIS

22 Jan 2013 -- packageSent
31 Jan 2013 -- NOA1 from NBC

6 Mar 2013 -- I130 transferred to Orlando local field office (which started the whole nightmare)

Mar 2013 to October 2013 no one would tell us where our case was or what was happening. I suspected the whole time it was just sitting in a corner somewhere in the Orlando field office. I was pretty much right.

October 2013 - get congressman involved. Congressman asks USCIS repeatedly about our case but they won't even tell them anything.

31 Jan 2014- finally get NOA2!!!! (we think the nightmare is over!)

NVC

Our case was not sent from the Orlando field office as it should have been. The nightmare continues. We kept calling NVC and asking if they received our case, and they always said "NO" and that we had to wait 90 business days for it to be received. We called USCIS during this time and they kept telling us it had been sent. After the 90 days of agonizing frustration, NVC then started telling us we had to wait 120 business days. I got our congressman involved again, and they told the congressman it was sitting at the Orlando office this whole time (just as I thought it was!).

22 Apr 2014 -- NVC received
16 May 2014 -- NVC case number assigned
24 May 2014 -- AoS and IV bills paid

28 May 2014 -- Sent AoS and IV Packages

6 June 2014 -- documents scanned

18 July 2014 -- false checklist from NVC

21 July 2014 -- Case complete

28 July 2014 -- receive case complete email from NV

30 July 2014 -- interview booked! September 11 here I come!

Embassy
04 Sept 2014 -- Medical
11 Sept 2014 -- Interview - APPROVED!!!!
15 Sept 2014 -- Package arrived at Loomis location!!!
