I've contacted both the DOS and NVC regarding our interview. I wanted to see if I could get the date before the letter arrived, but they say they no longer have anything to do with it. From what I've read around here the NVC should have our interview date available for us.

Any tips on how we can get our interview date by phone? I'm worried that our letter won't get here.

DoS is no longer providing the information of K-1 status. DoS usually told us to call NVC to request the status. However, you have told that NVC did not provide it so I would call NVC again. You can also contact Embassy to check your interview date and you can ask them to send the interview letter thru email.

Hi,

I filled out my fiance's confirmation of readiness form online on April 2nd and today we received her appointment letter for an interview in May. London Seems to be on the ball.

Getting an interview scheduled has been the easiest process in this nightmare of a process.

God luck

Same thing happened to me. I called the NVC a few times hoping to get a different person who would give me the date. Finally found an email to the embassy and contacted them. I received a responses 3 days later to find out that my fiancé had missed his interview. He never received the letter. Luckily they added a new date for the interview in the email and he did receive the letter stating so this time. Interview is Monday. Crossing our fingers!

I phoned both last night. DOS said they no longer give it out, but the NVC checked for me. No interview date yet. I filed my Readiness for Interview on April 3/4. Checking the twitter feed they said on April 10th they were processing applications submitted up to and including April 10th.

Hope that helps (someway anyway)

Glad they fixed a new date for you, that was very negligent of them.

ROC from CR-1 visa (Green Card expiration date was Nov 24th 2016)

Link to the evidence I submitted. Be sure to send evidence spanning your entire marriage (especially for K-1) or as far back as you can. Just one or two bank statements will not cut it. I primarily focused on the two years of living here since I came in on a CR-1. If you don't have the fundamentals (i.e. joint accounts/policies), you can explain why in the covering letter. E.g. "While we do not have joint utilities, we both contribute to them from our joint bank account".

September 26th 2016: I-751 package sent to CSC

September 28th 2016: Package delivered
September 30th 2016: Check cashed
October 3rd 2016: NOA1 received with receipt date of 09/28/16
November 3rd 2016: Biometrics received with appointment date of 11/14/16.
November 14th 2016: Attended biometrics appointment
October 30th 2017: Infopass appointment to get I-551 stamp
February 26th 2018: I-751 case number (aka the NOA1 receipt number) becomes trackable
March 14th 2018: Submitted service request due to being outside of processing time.

March 15th 2018: ROC approved. 535 days (1 year, 5 months and 17 days)

March 29th 2018: Card being produced

April 4th 2018: Card mailed out

April 6th 2018: Card in hand. Has incorrect "resident since" date. Submitted service request on I-751 case (typographical error on permanent resident card) and an I-90 online.

April 2018 - August 7th 2018: Tons of service requests, emails and now senator involvement to get my corrected green card back because what the heck, USCIS. Also some time in May I sent a letter to Potomac telling them I want to withdraw my I-90 since CSC were handling it.

August 8th 2018: Card in production thanks to the direct involvement of Senator Sherrod Brown's team

August 13th 2018: Card mailed

August 15th 2018: Card in hand with correct date. :joy:

October 31st 2018: Potomac sends out a notice stating they have closed out my I-90 per my request. Yay for no duplicate card drama.

Have you had any luck on finding an interview date? Seems we are at the same stage. I had my medical on the 7th. Case last updated on the 10th. No interview date yet though

We've heard nothing, I called the embassy and they said they couldn't access the database to find out if we had an interview date. Hopefully the form that mcurrie referenced me to will finally get an answer. Tired of calling around and getting told to call another place ;(

It's been 5 days since I've sent in a contact form to the embassy and still no reply, no interview letter either :( Anyone have anything else I can possibly do? It seems others who had their medical at the same time as us have since gotten an interview letter.

Figured I'd update this thread instead of making a new one, the embassy responded to our contact form about a week ago asking for another Notification of Readiness. We sent it in and received a case update yesterday. I called the NVC and they said our interview is on May 8th. We still haven't received the letter, hopefully it arrives tomorrow!
