Hello everyone,

Ive been reading on how to file my tax return in Canada, the more i read the more I get confuse... I need help.

Here is my story:\

I move in US may 2013...( worked in Canada jan -april 2013) , withdrew some RRSPs. recieved EI june2013-march 2014. did not work in US till march 2014.I still have money in my RRSPs and some cash money thats still in Canadian bank. and my GST/HST i still got( i think i need to return those)

My husbandin employed here in US...

Questions:

1. What are the things I need to file? ( i know i need to file my income, rrsps withdrawal, ei moneys)

2. Do i need to include my husband income in there now that I will file married?

3. Do i use a special form to file my tax?

Any suggestions from people who had done it before or anyone with knowledge regarding this ever confusing tax...

Thank you in advance...

I would call a tax service back in the town where you are from and ask if they can handle it... it's confusing! I believe you file as single as you were single when still in canada making money. For a while you will get cheques still from gst etc. and I would put them all in a file and keep them for when they ask for them back. I called the government and asked if they were rightfully mine and cashed some, then later they asked for some money back.

serbinksi forums should have some answers for you. Mine was seroiusly less complicated because I never had any RRSPs and my the amount in my Canadian bank accounts was practically nil at any one time.
