Vjers! i got these "On April 8, 2014, your Alien Registration Number was changed relating to your I130, IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN. Please check our website at www.uscis.gov for further updates on your case. Please wait until the end of normal processing time before calling customer service at 1-800-375-5283 for live assistance." what does this mean?

Did you recently submit your petition? If you did it means they assigned an A# to your case.

Is the A# you mention the permanent resident number that will be assigned to the card of the foreign national? Or is it for something else?

Hi there.. recently filed and got that same message.

I have read other threads where people say it does not mean anything positive or negative, it just means they are working on the case apparently.

Im from MX and petition was sent to Nebraska too!
