Hi,

after all I read in the forum and the instructions .I still don`t understand. Could you help, please.

1. Do I have to send 2 pictures(instructions says, I don`t have to)

2. Can I send one check with $275( Instructions says, I can submit one check)

3. I became a resident through my husband, we got married before I come in US, so I came here with marriage visa. My resdident card is for twho years. Am I considered conditional resident and Is this the right package for me that I need to send. I read all instructions how to remove conditions on residency. I just want to make sure that this the package for me, because most of the people on forum became residents through a fiancee visa. Please tell me?

4. We changed our address a few months ago. I send immediately Form AR11 ( Change of address) to the immigrations. I didn`t send the mail certified. I didn`t receive anything back from the immigrations. I s everything all right?

Thank you

I-751 form is the one to use to remove conditions when conditional permanent status is granted through marriage to a US citizen (k-1, k-3 and i think CR-1 also)

I sent one check for $275.00, no pictures and it seems to be ok. They have cashed it and sent me the receipt.

If you look online at the new instructions, it says to send 2 passport pics with your application.

When you change your address, you have to change it with INS 2 times: one time by submitting the form you just did (AR11), and another one by phone (call the 1-800 number). The reason is that with the form AR11 you change the address ON your application and by phone you change the address at the center that sends out notifications. That might be the reason you didn't get an answer.

I think I-751 is the right package for you. You came here married with an US citizen and you are a conditional resident, so...there you go.

Also, if you changed the address, make sure when you submit the evidence with I-751 to include something that proves that you sent AR11. If needed, resend another AR11 and ask for confirmation with the postal office.

Good luck.

A.

You'd better look at the date on the I-751 form you're using for a reference, Al. Pictures are NOT submitted with it any more. Passport pics are done with fingerprinting now. The form used now has 8/06 on the bottom right corner.

I did look online at the instructions with date od exp. 09/30/08 and it says

NOTE: Because USCIS is now taking phortographs of applicants, you no longer need to submit two passport style photos with your petition. I also called by phone and they said, NO photographs.

Form I 751 (Rev. 08/01/06) this s/b the newest one, am I right?

About the address I called to ask them, and she said that I don`t need to send the mail certified for change of addres and also that I am not suppost to receive anything from the immigrations and everything should be all right. She didn`t tell me anything about changing my address on the phone even I was talking with her.

Now I am a little worry, isn`t ii enough just to send the form AR11 for change of an address or there is more than that.

Thank you

gtgrigorova,

EAC is the USCIS designation for what is today called the Vermont Service Center, formerly the Eastern Adjudication Center.
