I filed I-90 to replace a stolen Green Card last month and I did biometrics for it on 3/3/14.

Now I filed N-400 last week and I'm still waiting for my application to be accepted and to receive NOA. My question is will I have to do biometrics again (since I-90 and N-400 are two different applications) or not (since fingerprints are valid for 15 months - that's what I read on this forum)? If not will they let me know my fingerprints are still good?

Just wondering so I won't be worried why I never received a biometrics letter plus I'm trying to plan a trip out of town soon and it would be nice not having to worry about biometrics appointment.

My Immigration Journey:

K1: June 2010 - December 2010

AOS: April 2011 - June 2011

ROC: April 2013 - August 2013

Naturalization: March 2014 - August 2014

missicy,

You should probably ask rogue320, a March filer, how he/she worked through his/her situation. rogue320 reported that no bio-metric data were required in the current application since he/she had already recorded bio-metric data for a previous N-400 application that was ultimately withdrawn. Of course, in that case, the applications were the same unlike in your case where they're different so getting the USCIS to make the reconciliation might be tricky. See if rogue 320 can tell you if he/she took any steps in that case that you could take in yours.

Good luck.
