Hi everyone,

I am preparing documents to send for AOS. I just want to check with you if my cover letter is ok and whether I have everything that I need. Thanks in advance for help... p.s. do we still send documents to this address?

Enclosed please find Form I-485 Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status, together with its supporting documents, as well as forms I-765 and I-131 with their own separate copies of supporting documents. My eligibility is based on admission as the fiancé of a U.S. citizen and subsequent marriage to that citizen within 90 days of entry.

▪ Payment in the amount of $1010 (Biometrics fee included) personal check made payable to U.S. Department of Homeland Security

▪ Form I-485, signed and dated
▪ Copy of Form I-797C Notice of Action (Approval Notice)
▪ Copy of Birth certificate along with English translation
▪ Copy of Passport Biographical Page and K-1 Visa Page
▪ Electronic I-94 copy

▪ Form G-325A, Biographic Information Sheet

▪ Federal income tax return, including W-2’s for the years 2013, 2012, 2011
▪ Letter of employment
▪ Copy of most recent pay stubs
▪ Copy of Biographical Page of Passport
▪ Copy of Birth Certificate
▪ Copy of checking account balance

I-131 Application for Travel Document

▪ Form I-131,signed and dated
▪ Copy of Passport Biographical Page and K-1 Visa Page

▪ Copy of Marriage Certificate

▪ Copy of Form I-797C Notice of Action (Approval Notice)
▪ Explanation for Eligibility on a separate sheet
▪ Electronic I-94 copy

▪ Two (2) passport size photos with name and alien receipt number printed at the back

I-765 Application for Employment Authorization

▪ Form I-765, signed and dated
▪ Copy of Passport Biographical Page and K-1 Visa Page

▪ Copy of Marriage Certificate
▪ Electronic I-94 copy
▪ Two (2) passport size photos with name and alien receipt number printed at the back


Copies of documents submitted are exact photocopies of unaltered documents and I understand that I may be required to submit original documents to an Immigration or Consular officer if requested.

Initial glance, the fee is $1070, not $1010.

The address is in the instructions, as well as the current fee.

You have too much duplicate evidence in the I-131 and I-765. No need for marriage cert or passport pages for those.
