Affidavit of support - need tax returns or w2's?

Okay. Here's the thing. My sweet babboo is getting his stuff ready to send me in preparation of the impending interview.

He pointed out that his tax returns are something like 40 pages (if he's exaggerating, I'm not sure. If he's not...darn IRS no wonder no one likes you!! That's painful!). So how far back does he need to go? And does he need to send me his tax returns or are w2s sufficient?

Tax returns ( 1040 ) and W2 together.

You can ask him to go irs.gov to obtain tax transcripts and I am pretty sure that tax transcripts are about 8 pages per year ( 4 pages if you print both sides) . You can obtain it in few minutes and then send it through your email.

Exactly - tax return plus w2 or tax transcript which is really easy to get and mine were only 2 pages long. Cover sheet and then summary.
