Hello All,

I would appreciate all the info and advice please.

My Fiancee(the beneficiary) is a Chinese citizen with a 2 year old child(living in china) that is working in Jamaica. The child will not be accompanying her to the US(no K-2 filed).

I have sent in my I-129F packet and got NOA1. she will doing the interview from Jamaica.

If you could please answer the below questions:

1) What other forms or letter will (I or her) need to complete besides the I-134 and DS-160?

2) Will my finacee need her birth certificate or will passport suffice?

3) Does my fiancée need the birth certificate of her child? the child only has an ID paper(standard for all citizens)with NO pic. the ex-husband is giving her trouble with getting the birth certificate.

4) I input the wrong birth date of my fiancée child. Do I make a note (of the error I made filling out the I-129F form) when filling out the upcoming forms?, do I call or email informing of error, and if so, what department/phone number/email?

thanks for all the help. this process gets overwhelming at times. I guess its not being familiar with it. Im so appreciative of VJ. I has helped me tremendously thus far.

You will need to get her an updated letter of intent along with your I-134 Affadavit of Support....along with you support documents....ie.. paystubs, W-2, ITR....

She will need her birth certificate.....especially if she is coming here...u know....insurance and stuff like that..plus to get U.S Passport eventually

Yeah, so if your fiancee's child is not accompanying her, then no need to worry about the child's birth certificate...

Hello All,

If you could please answer the below questions:

1) What other forms or letter will (I or her) need to complete besides the I-134 and DS-160?

Read the Guides and check out the Embassy web page for Embassy-specific requireemtns.

2) Will my finacee need her birth certificate or will passport suffice?

Check out the Embassy web page.

3) Does my fiancée need the birth certificate of her child? the child only has an ID paper(standard for all citizens)with NO pic. the ex-husband is giving her trouble with getting the birth certificate.

If the child is not to receive a visa, then there is not need for any document for the child.

4) I input the wrong birth date of my fiancée child. Do I make a note (of the error I made filling out the I-129F form) when filling out the upcoming forms?, do I call or email informing of error, and if so, what department/phone number/email?

Send a corrected form to her to bring to the interview....again, if the child is not to receive a visa, then its a non0isue.

thanks for all the help. this process gets overwhelming at times. I guess its not being familiar with it. Im so appreciative of VJ. I has helped me tremendously thus far.
