We will be putting our petition in, in May on his return from a visit to me... I am then visiting him for 2months late June-late August.

If were filing in may, should I have any problems visiting for such a long time?

I know the time line is longer then three months on average for interview stage, but what happens if I'm is US and I get an interview date?

What kind of proof should I have of returning to Ireland after two months?

I will bring copies of everything we have submitted so far so they can see we are doing it legally if asked, I will have paid and had receipt for my sons uniform, and new school books for the start of his new school year in September when we return and will bring these receipts will this be enough? I also get single parent payments, and have a phone contract.

I don't have rent or mortgage payments or utility bills is there anything else I could bring? I'm worried this won't be enough to prove, even though I have all intentions of returning, mainly due to sons schooling.

I know I can visit but I'm wondering mostly about time line and wondering anyone has experienced getting interview dates/medicals etc scheduled while they have been visiting USC, and are these dates changeable if this were to happen etc.

I doubt it will as it will only be 2-4months since petition by the time I've been and gone??
