I received my NOA2, but as a fulltime med student, I obviously have no income right now. I also have not filed tax returns in years because I did not earn anything. I'll graduate and start working this summer. For now I need a co-sponsor I believe. Is there any reason to have 2 co-sponsors? Would it help anything? And, on a related note, should I attach a document explaining that I will have a good income (and excellent future earning potential) starting in a couple months? Thanks!

I was in the same boat as you are, and still am unfortunately. I am not done with school yet, we recently applied for removal of conditions ( which a lot of people have to do after living in US for 2 years?) They are now asking for more evidence BECAUSE we do not have enough financial evidence, because we live with my parents and dont pay anything untill I am done with school and ready to move out. . I actually just had my brother as a co-signer. Maybe you parents would be the best bet, somebody in your household. I did not have any problems... I was earning but only like 8,000 a year which was nowhere near what they were asking for ... you can mention it but they are looking at it NOW, not your future...hope that helps :)

You cannot have 2 co-sponsors with the I-134.

Your future potential income is irrelevant. The affidavit of support is based off of CURRENT income,

Does that mean if I have a single sponsor that makes the targets for the I-134, then I don't need the I-134 to be filled out a second time by the US petitioner?
