Hi VJers,

How should our Co-Sponsor complete QUESTION 11 on the I-134?

(QUESTION 11: "I intend / do not intend to make specific contributions to the support of the person named in item 3" and "If you check 'intend,' indicate the exact nature of and duration of the contributions")

For those of you who have used a Co-Sponsor and been approved by the U.S. Consulate in Sydney, what did your Co-Sponsor write for QUESTION 11?

I know that the sample I-134 form on VJ indicates that Sponsor and Co-Sponsor should simply write "N/A (K1 VISA PROCESS FOR PERMANENT RESIDENCE)." However, I have read several VJ threads in which members state that some consulates want to see exactly what type of support Co-Sponsors are willing to provide and therefore want Co-Sponsors to check "intend" and describe what they are willing to contribute in those lines below.

What has your experience been with this?

Thanks for your feedback!

Our co-sponsor simply wrote she would provide bed/board for as long as I needed. Didn't have a problem at the interview.

Thanks! Has anyone else used a co-sponsor? What was your experience?
