Address and AOS

Hi everyone,

Quick question. Through the K-1 process (and from a really really long time), I have been living at my parents' house.

When my fiance gets to the US, we are going to try to find another place to live nearby that is not too much rent, for maybe just a year till my fiance can get a job and we can see 1-what our finances look like a year from now, and 2-find a place that would be central to both of our jobs.

Here is my question. When I file for adjustment of status, can I still put down my parents' address (we will be there from time to time) or do I have to put the temporary place we will be living at?

Also, on a side note... do I have to change my driver's license as well and other govt forms of id if the new place is only foing to be temporary?

- February 25th, 2014 (26th in Philippines): Fiance finished medical exam & vaccinations (all in one early & long day) @ St. Luke's & passed


- February 25th, 2014 (26th in Philippines): US Embassy - Manila (USEM) receives our case & is READY for interview


- February 26th, 2014 (26th in Philippines): Able to reschedule for a March 12th interview date! Whoo Hoo!!


- March 12th, 2014 (11th in US): Fiance interviews @ US Embassy....... APPROVED!!! YEA BABE!!idea9dv.gif dancin5hr.gif biggrin.png kicking.gif

You can use your parents address.

Each state is a little different but most require current address for the driver license. SSA ask for current address but upon marriage and a new address you can make the changes. Always be current with your information and you will have no problems.

You can use your parents address.
