Police clearance is only allowed when you happened to live outside the native country for 6months and above, you will obtain such to the foreign country youve been. IF not, you only need NBI clearance

July 9----- Received mail and txt of acceptance from uscis for I-485, i-765 and I-131
July12---- Hard copy of i-485,i-765 and I-131 in the mail
July14-----Biometrics schedule arrive on the mail, Scheduled on August 6,2014
August6----Biometrics done!done!
Sept03-----EAD/AP CARD/document production :)
Sept11-----EAD card recieved
October16--Interview AOS :)
Approved on the spot
October 24-Green Card arrived in the mail. :)

you will only be asked to submit a police clearance from the foreign country where you could have atleast stayed more than 6 months. If no foreign travel happened then no need to submit a police clearance.

Thanks guys..so i need to get NBI now bec its almost a month to get that

getting NBI wont take you a month only a week unless there are other people has same name as yours :D i get mine within a day, my advice its better to get Police Clearance too. Good luck!

I just finish interview. No need for police clearance unless you have lived outside country. NBI IS IMPORTANT ?

If you lived in another country for six months or more after the age of 16, you must submit a police clearance from that country at your interview. You do not have to submit a local Filipino police clearance nor a barangay clearance.
