It depends. Assuming your husband passes his interview and medical, they will likely take his passport and send it back to him with the visa in it within a couple of weeks. But that's not the same in every country. It would probably be best for you to ask this question in your country's portal.

Go to your countries portal page click on Consular information if they have it and it will tell you how long it takes to get Visa.

Case Complete to Interview spreadsheet
