Hi all.... we are in the process of K1, and received the first NOA a week ago. Waiting for the 2nd one to arrive.

I've been reading on threads regarding I-134, but most of them are old. Just wanted to make sure that the rules are still the same.

My income (I'm the US sponsor) is above 125% of the poverty line as described in http://www.uscis.gov/sites/default/files/files/form/i-864p.pdf

Just wanted to confirm that I only need these documents:

  • I-134 signed and notarized
  • IRS tax transcript (1 page for each year) for the past 3 years (from: http://www.irs.gov/Individuals/Get-Transcript)
  • Copies of W2 for the past 3 years
  • Letter from my employer stating annual salary, job responsibility, and that is full time, on company letterhead.
  • Copies of paystubs for the past 6 months
  • No need to include other assets, only include the income part

Is it necessary to have the I-134 notarized?

I searched around the forum and it depends on the consulate. And I did not find anything on the singapore's embassy site http://singapore.usembassy.gov/immigrant_visas.html. Any advice?

The I-134 needs your original sgnature but it doesn't need to be notarized. The supporting evidence sounds fine. Yes, if your income is above the minimum threshold then you don't need to provide evidence of assets.
