CEAC status "Refused"

My husband is supposed to have his interview last Feb 10, 2014 but since he failed the medical exam he wasn't able to come to the interview. He's under a Directly Observe Treatment in St. Lukes since Feb 4 (Class A TB was found shortly after his initial medical exam). He was advised by St. Lukes that they are the ones who will get a hold with US embassy in Manila regarding the cancellation and rescheduling of his interview when he finishes his treatment that will take 8 months. But few minutes ago, when I checked his status it changed from Ready to Refused.I dont know what this means. :(

Remember when you are in Ready it says you are ready for interview. Since the medical failed the Interview is refused. No interview. No biggie they will reschedule when the time comes.

Hope your husband has complete healing.

So any updates on your husband?? My son (step son) is going thru exactly this...but he had his interview after remedical a couple days ago...but is still listed as "refused"...Im pretty sure that will change in a day or so because the Embassy said that he passed the interview...we'll see...
