Absolutely no way are you legal in the US for a year on a tourist visa. This is not possible under the law. A visitor visa holder is limited to 6 months max.

Since the terms of your B1 are vastly different from normal B1s, it is hard to give advice without more information. Like, about what business you are doing, when you got the visa and for what purpose

May be cohabiting, often used for those of the same gender, admittance to probably relates to the principal applicants authorised stay.

Asking for clarification of someone's post is helpful to the OP, your original comment was completely random and had no relation to this thread.

OP - if it was me I would not travel unless it was absolutely essential, you might not have any problems returning but then again you could will all depend on the CBP officer at the airport.

I never admitted to anything. Your comment was a shot from left field, nowhere in the thread did the OP mention cohabiting with a same sex partner. Besides, that would be illegal wouldn't it? B visas are classified as non-immigrant visas.

Its none of your business, OP even clarified why he has not been more specific earlier in the thread. We're not here to speculate on the reasons why people are where they are or to judge people. We are supposed to be here to try and help people with their immigration journey.
