Hi Everyone,

I require a help regarding PCC in India for F-4 visa.

1. I learned online that one can apply for PCC online from Passport seva kendra portal. However, i am not able to get an appointment in PSK. Is it the only place where we can get PCC? Can we directly go to PSK instead of getting online appointment?

2. I asked one agent for the same he said PSK will not issue a PCC without a request from NVC for the same. Is it true? someone who has gone though this process please help.

Guys please help. Is urgent..

Thanks in advance.

I also checked with local PSK but appointment should not be problem, Although it may require multiple efforts . You can always show the online letter where documents required are mentioned as proof that NVC has asked for PCC. What is your PD???

That is what you need to tell to the person who is asking for request from NVC, I have not applied as yet want to wait for some more movement in PD. So you have you filled in online DS260 forms , Did they ask you or you doing it your self after AOS and fee submission??

1. According to what I know, an appointment is not required to get PCC from PSK. You just print the receipt that contains the ARN, go to the PSK and get the PCC on same day if your present address is same as the one mentioned in your passport.

I had a doubt whether an appointment was required to get PCC so i called the PSK helpline. The person asked me where I was applying the PCC from. After I told him about the location, he told me that no appointment is required to get the PCC. You just have to go to the PSK with the confirmation containing ARN and your original passport.

2.I don't think you need to provide an evidence to prove that you truly need a PCC. The person on the helpline did not tell me to bring anything like that. Only the things mentioned above are required.

Yes. My DS260 is submitted and now i need to submit documents.

So i called call center of PSK. The representative told me no such letter is required. Let's see. Now i will try for online appointment again.

No, Seems like for my PSK online appointment is required. As for my location he told me to get one. Also when my father visited the PSK he was also told the same.

And yes i asked for the evidence part and i was told that no such thing is required.

I received mail from NVC Yesterday.

They Said,

We are currently receiving an increased number of approved petitions from U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services. As a result, we are experiencing increased review times for documents received.

need 60 days for review my Documents. So there are more approved petitions.

We Hope, Future bulletin will be around 3 Weeks

I think that might have been standard answer to all who have sent documents . Why the way have you sent all the documents ? I mean PCC also
