My fiance was issued her visa Feb 21 2014. We want the kids to follow on K2. My question is if the they get the K2 visa before Feb 21 2015 do they have 6 months to travel after the visa is issued like on the K1 or do they need to travel by Feb 21 2015 to the states?

Visa should be good for 6 months from the date of the medical, same as with your fiancee.

I thought it was 6 months from the visa being issued. Are you sure about 6 months from medical?

Im glad she got the visa. Congratulations!

Thank you.

Yup I am sure. Same for your fiancee, her visa will expire 6 months from the date of her medical or when she clears POE whichever occurs first. ;)
