NVC has assigned our I-129F a case number today and is going to be sending it off to the embassy, all while they have not even received the I-130 yet. There is hope for us not having to make the Montreal trek!

Anyone hoping for the K3 in Van, all I can suggest is calling and pestering whoever you can to get them to send the I-129F NOA2 prior to the I-130 NOA2. Ours was held for only a few days, but at this point, it's making all the difference!

Sflasch, that is great news!

So happy that it has worked out for you!!!

We are feeling so torn about the whole process at this point.

We really wish that we could come and go easier, between our lives and families.

It's hard to hear of our EU relatives all traveling so freely in Europe,

while we, a Canadian and US couple, have nothing but headaches between our countries.

You have given us a little hope, though.

Thank you for taking the time to update so thouroughly along the way!

All the best to you! :)
