Hello everyone

I have a few questions... if someone can help me out I would be very grateful!

Today on the USCIS website when entering my fiances receipt number the date till yesterday was January 6 and now it was changed to February 13 with the same message that his alien registration number has changed. Does anyone know what the means?

Also, when recieving the envelope that we can not open, does that arrive on my home address ot his? Or do we get that in the embassy?

It's a normal part of the process, It means your fiance has been allocated an alien registration number. Nothing for you to do at this stage,

23 February 2018: Biometrics appointment letter received. Appointment 13 March 2018. 

27 April 2018: Interview notice received. Interview Date: June 5, 2018. Request to reschedule sent as out of the country at that time.

04 April 2019: Attended interview ... PASSED!

The envelope that can't be opened usually comes with the visa and there's a stamp on it that say not to open so you will know which. Hope that helps

13th May 2014: AOS (I-485) & EAD/AP combo card
21st May 2014: NOA 1 and biometric letter
11th June 2014: biometric appointment
13th June 2014: RFE received via mail
16th June 2014: replied to RFE
6th August 2014: EAD Approved, AP still in initial review
12th August 2014: got tracking number for EAD
( ) August 2014: Received EAD (I forgot what date I got them but I did receive them less than 5 days from the 12th)
10th September 2014: Interview Waiver received (I wished I was interviewed)
April 23, 2015, we registered your permanent resident status and mailed you a Welcome Notice
