Hi All,

I am married to a US citizen in June 2013 and I got my green card in Feb 2014. Me and my spouse both work in the US and planning to file the 2013 tax return jointly. Since I got my green card year this in 2014, I have some questions

1. Should I consider myself as a resident alien while filing the taxes together? or will I still be considered as non resident alien?

2. What will be my country of Tax resident for 2013?

You have your green card so therefore you are a permanent resident of the US.
