Hello,

I am a US citizen. My fiance is a lithuanian citizen living and working legally in ireland for the past five years. She has a lithuanian passport. She is in the US now visiting and will leave feb 19th.

Question 15a-h asks if she is currently in the US complete the following:

15a. Last arrived as: Visitor

15b. 1-94 arrival/departure number: left blank because 1-94 no longer exists

15c. date of arrival: 01/07/2014

15d. date stay will expire as shown on I-94 or I-95: 04/06/2014 - this is the date stamped in her passport, 3 months (90 days) after her arrival. should I put this or leave this blank too because the I-94 no longer exists.

15e. Passport number: xxxxxxxxxx

15f. Travel document number: left blank

15g. Country of issuance for passport: Lithuania

Question 31a-c asks If your fiances native alphabet uses other than roman letters, write his or her name and address abroad in the native alphabet. In lithuanian, here name is slightly different only because there is a dot above the e. On her passport her name is exactly the same as written in roman letters except for a dot above the e. So we wrote her name in her native alphabet, but since she lives in ireland her address abroad is written in Roman letters. Should we write here address in roman letters where it says address in native alphabet or leave it blank?

For 34.a. describe the circumstances under which we met. I see conflicting advice as to wether to write a few sentences or a page. I am going to write a short paragraph stating the places and dates we have met in person in the last two years. I am then going to sign and date the page and have my fiance do the same because the I-129 instructions say proof of meeting in the past two years may include a written statement. I will of course include airline tickets and photos etc as well. What do I put on line 34.a.? See attached? See supplement? Do I include page numbers or anything? Then do I just write Supplement to 34a on top of the statement I write, date and sign it?

On the G325-a,

Her mother is deceased. Where it asks for her city and country of residence should I use her last residence or write deceased?

Also, she has a 2 month overlap in employment where she was working two jobs. Is this going to cause problems?

Both her and I have worked some off the books jobs for over a year the past five years. We should include these correct?

If there are questions that do not apply do we leave them blank or put N/A on I-129f? what about g-325a?

Is it ok to write in all caps if it is neater on the I-129F? G-325A?

We are hoping to get this sent out this week. We also think she might be pregnant but aren't sure yet (have to wait till the weekend to test). Would her being pregnant interfere with the application? From what I've read since I am the father and a USC the child would be a USC even if born abroad and could then get a US passport. What about the medical exam, would she be denied if she is pregnant?

Lastly how do I found out info about Dublin Consulate? I want to know if they will accept a joint sponsor for the affidavit of support.

Thank you!

Patrick

Welcome to the forum.

You ask some good questions that are often discussed in this forum. There will likely be numerous responses to your thread. Please review this CBP link that speaks about the now automated Form I-94 process, and how to retrieve the necessary information:

Good luck on your visa journey.

There are still I-94s. They are just automated and can be retrieved online > https://i94.cbp.dhs.gov/I94/request.html

Yes, write her name in her native alphabet. If her address is already in Roman letters, then leave the native language address section blank.

Read through the I-129F instructions. It tells you about leaving anything that is N/A or 'none' blank, and how to do an attachment sheet. > http://www.uscis.gov/sites/default/files/files/form/i-129finstr.pdf Also, the example form can be helpful as well > http://www.visajourney.com/examples/Form-I-129F.pdf

Yes, put 'SEE ATTACHMENT'.

Yes, put that the mother is deceased where it asks for residence.

Overlaps for working 2 jobs is not a problem, just do not leave gaps in your 5 year history.

She will not be denied for being pregnant. Pregnancy is not a reason to fail a medical exam. She may need to put off vaccinations while pregnant, and I am not sure if they go ahead and do the chest x-ray or not. The doctor at the medical clinic that does her exam will know what is needed or not for someone that is pregnant. Will the child be born before she gets the visa? In that case you would need to file for a CRBA for your child. http://travel.state.gov/content/passports/english/abroad/events-and-records/birth.html

If you update your profile to include the county where you will interview, then you will be able to click Portal at the top of the forum and see all the posts from others going through your same consulate. You can also check out the Dublin reviews from the link at the top of the forum. There are also regional forums towards the bottom of VJ where you can find posts from people that have been through or are going through your consulate. I believe Ireland accepts co-sponsors, but you can always contact them directly to make sure> http://dublin.usembassy.gov/fiancees_visas2.html
